Happy long weekend, Canada! The weather is finally beautiful in my part of the world and I hope it is for you too. Now that the moving craziness has subsided, I can get back into posting a bit more regularly. I knew Links ‘N Drinks would be a favourite of mine, but I didn’t realize just how much. Shall we?

The Links

The Drink

  • So I’m kind of cheating on this one as it’s not a mixed drink, rather a delicious summery, fruity beer. Yes, boys will like it too. This Pineapple Hefeweizen is so lovely that you will more than likely have many of them. I have. It was worth it. This beer was one of my favourites at a recent Beer Festival I went to and I was stoked to find it widely available in my part of town. It’s a seasonal brew so GET ON IT.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Links ‘N Drinks

I. Love. Rhyming.

Moving on…

New segment? I think so! Friday will be time for Links ‘N Drinks, the post where I share some of my favourite links of the week and share a delicious cocktail recipe for your drinking pleasure over the weekend. Brilliant, no? I’m not much of a hard alcohol kind of gal – I like my beer and wine, but I also like a light, refreshing drink. So, shall we? Links first:

1. The most wonderful collection of photos of John Krasinski. I’m still crying over the finale.

2. I’m currently obsessed with this blog. Delicious and uncomplicated recipes that aren’t too unhealthy.

3. Celebrities at sporting events make me so. happy. (I have no clue why)

4. This makes me even more sad about my 2 weeks vacation a year.

The drink: my go-to recipe for delicious sangria. Of course, add a little more of what you like and leave out what you don’t. It’s sangria, not surgery.
